Christmas @ Haddenham Baptist 2021

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we at Haddenham Baptist are certainly trying to make the most of it as we celebrate Immanuel – the earth shaking and world altering news of God who is with us. Any and all are very welcome at any of our events and we hope to see you there, but more than that, we hope you will encounter the God who comes to you exactly where you are.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year – Joy to the World.

Christmas Coffee Morning Sat 4th Dec 10:00am-Noon

A fun morning of coffee, cake, and Christmas related fun – including an opportunity to have your photo taken with a very special family.

All money raised will go towards supporting HBC’s partner aid and mission organisations.

Wreath Making & Prosecco Evening Sat 4th Dec 6pm @ St Mary’s Centre

A relaxed evening to make the perfect Christmas decoration for your front door. Plenty of chat, laughter and prosecco guaranteed.

Family Christingle Sunday 5th Dec 10:15am

We take some traditional Christmas gifts, an orange, some sweets, and a candles, we wrap them in a ribbon and together we tell the story of God, the universe and ourselves. A great way for all ages to engage with the story of Christmas and make some memories as we dim the lights and light our candles and sing together.

The Nativity Sunday 12th Dec 10:30am for 11am

In conjunction with our friends at Cornerstone Baptist we will tell the story of the Impossible Dream. Join us for some tea, coffee and mulled wine as we sing some carols and our children act out the most famous story ever told – and all located in the incredible medieval tythe barn. You’ll almost feel like you there at that very first Christmas.

Vintage Church – The Christmas Special Saturday 18th Dec 2-4pm

One for the seniors amongst us as we come together for some Christmas themed crafts, games, stories, songs and cake. We all know that this can be a lonely season for many so come along to Vintage church for some great company and friendship.

(Suggested donation of £2 per person)

Carols by Candlelight Sun 19th Dec 6pm

Everyone’s favourite service of the year as the light of our candles pierce the dark and the songs and story pierce our hearts. An opportunity to escape the busyness of the season and enjoy the peace of God together. And do stay for tea, coffee and mince pies afterwards.

Carols & Beer @ The King’s Head 7:30pm

Join us at the King’s Head as we toast the coming King. Just a great community sing-a-long that we’d love to see you at.

Family Film Afternoon – Elf Thursday 23rd Dec 3pm

We all know that those last few days are such a mix of excitement and busyness. So if you need something to entertain the kids or if your partner needs a couple of hours to get stuff ready then why not join us for a screening of a modern Christmas classic – Elf.

(Suggested donation of £2 per adult £1 per child)

Churches Together Live Nativity Christmas Eve 3pm @ the Village Green, Church End.

As the big day approaches we will gather at village green to encounter a few important characters who have a story to tell. We might even a song or two. Great fun for all the family.

Midnight Communion Christmas Eve 11:30pm

All was quiet and all was calm and then everything changed and the baby who would be King was born. Join us as we break bread and drink wine and greet Immanuel – our coming Saviour.

Christmas Day Family Service 9:30am

An informal but joyous occasion to celebrate together the most wonderful time of the year. Put on your Christmas jumpers, bring along a present, and together we will celebrate
